A seventeenth-century pagoda dedicated to General Quan Cong.
Vietnamese moped driver in front of the Quan Cong Temple in Hoi An.
Founded by Chinese from the island of Hainan, or Hai Nam, and dedicated to unlucky passengers, who were killed in 1851 by a vietnamese general who plundered three merchant ships of the chinese. Also called Hai Nam Assembly Hall.
Inside the covered bridge are four statues: two dogs and two monkeys, which suggest that work began in the year of the monkey and ended in that of the dog.
